Bomatu are four partners - Kate & Russ Slater, James Iliasa and Rich Davies that were brought together by their common love for diving and diverse knowledge of the oceans. Together they intend to build up Bomatu into a company that will be synonymous with quality, service and adventure.

The Bomatu logo represents a stylised splashboard found on the bow and stern of canoes built in Milne Bay.

James	Papua New Guinea. Born and raised in Milne Bay. Prominent dive guide/master through out Papua New Guinea since 1980.
